Help I am confused???

Ok so about a week ago i noticed this guy flirting with me in science....he waited for me to be my partner in one of the labs we were doing in chemistry. anyway he seems so different we locked eye contact sometimes in class but he hasnt done anything else i feel almost ignored by him. i have approached him and asked him question like how does he like his shop class and our chem teacher. he responded well but not totally interested. I just think about him to much and i just want to make sure he likes me at all.....i know he just got braces and could be shy but he isnt shy around other girls. I am so confused with this situation.

It's only been a week so keep doing what you have been doing and he will probably get over his shyness with you.

Smile at him a lot and he will feel good about you.
