Could he want a relationship with me in the future?

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
My boyfriend of ten months broke up with me two weeks ago, saying that he had been feeling differently for about a month, but that it was nothing I had done. Then, he tells me that he wasn't liking certain things about me, but wouldn't specify. He is still sleeping with a pillow that I made him to cuddle with while we were separated this summer, and told a mutual friend that it was just because it was a good pillow. He also told her that he has no feelings for me, though both statements were made while he was playing a DS and refusing to look her in the eye. The most I could get out of him as to an explanation of why he broke up with me was that no, there was not another girl, and that he doesn't want a relationship right now. I am very much in love with him, though I am willing to back off and date around until he is ready. We were each other's first loves and I was his first girlfriend. Do you think there is any chance of him changing his mind as to not wanting a relationship? And will he want me back if he does change his mind?

RomanceClass.com Advice
Give him time to see what it is like being alone.

There is a good chance that he won't like it and come back to you.

Dating around will also put some pressure on him so that's a good idea and it's good for you too.

Good luck! George
