how can i get her back when it seems inpossable?

ok theres this girl.... i met her last year online and i decided to go to her house to meet her...i went over to her house and wow i had the most amazing time with her...i told her i liked her and it went pretty well...we went out right after this kid broke up with her... bad idea we went out for 2 days then she dumped me.... i kno i didnt give her enough time... a while later we went out again for two weeks the most amazing time of my life... she dumped me because she still had feelings for the kid that dumped her and the kid moved to illinois.... they "loved each other" and she was tellin me it was gunna be forever bla blah... then recently he basically said forget you and went out with this other girl in illinios.... she was rele down and i was there for her 24/7 haha so for her birthday i dropped $330 on her tryin to make her feel better i bought her 5lbs of chocolate and a video ipod.... i asked her the other day if she liked me even a little bit and she said nothing that would get you anywhere at the moment... im like crushed right now cause everyone says we woul be perfect togeather im like there for her all this stuff i think she woulda liked me... were best freinds and now that this guy is gone i rele want her back cause now there is nothing holding us back from goin longer.. her family trusts me alot and all of her freinds like me... idk what to do anymore.. im not moving on eather

While things might not be looking up for you, actually you are in a good position.

You say you are best friends. Keep it that way for a while. Pretty soon she will become attracted to you just because that's what happens with best friends. She will come to depend on you, share information, share feelings, and express affection for you. All in all, this is a solid basis for a good relationship.

Be careful not to push her away by constantly ask her whether she likes you. When she does, she will let you know.
