Does he like me?

I like this guy. He likes me too and he tells me this nearly every day. We met a while back but we don't live in the same town. We talk on the phone every night and speak online all the time and I have fallen for him big time.
The only problem is, he tends to flirt with a lot of girls online, I've noticed on his facebook profile that he's been saying exactly the same things to other girls as he did to me a few weeks back. (He doesn't know I know he's been flirting though.) I've also learnt that he's met up with a few of these girls (I'm unsure what they've done though, although I'd rather not know.) He says he's being genuine when he tells me he likes me though and he's even mentioned having a long distance relationship. (We're meeting up in a few weeks.)
I honestly don't know what to do. I really do like him a lot but I'm scared of being let down again as I've been let down in the past and I don't want it happening again.
Do you think it's worth taking it further with this guy?

Being let down is part of life.
It can happen anytime, not just with boys. So get used to it and learn from it. So, having said that, I think it is worth see the guy. You haven't known him long enough to make a good judgement so let him show you whether is good enough for you.
