I messed up and am begging for another chance

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
My girlfriend and I dated for 1 1/2 years and we were so in love. It was perfect until we grew afraid of something happening to our relationship. Now she asked for space since she is starting college and I finally gave her it. We talked one night and she said it may be better if I just become a memory. I don't want that! I love her too much! How do I get her back? How do I show her that she can get her hopes up one last time to be with me? I love her too much to let her go

College can be a lonely place, especially for a first year student.

Keep in touch with her and she will appreciate it.

She will be away from you so she will get some natural space from that.

Don't push her and she will be more likely to react to you positively.

This won't be easy, but you will have to give it a try.
