she is so confusing!

well anyways there is this girl she is homeschooled but i still see her almost every day iv known her for 4 years now and were just friends. i knew a long time ago she liked me but that was when we were like 10. now i like her and have liked her for the longest time. i just got her cell phone number a long time ago and have been textng her alot and she has been texting me back alot and once she even asked me if i was flirting with her. the wierd thing is though is ever since i have gotten her number we have not talked alot in public only by text. and now all of a sudden ive been texting her and she would text like 1 message and then stop when i still wanted to talk to her. there is also the fact that all my guy friends know that i like her and i am afraid that she knows now. so now i am afraid she is trying to avoid me and i am too afraid to make a move or anything because i am not sure if she likes me or not and ive realized that some of my guy friends have been talking to her and i am hoping that they dont like her too because if they do that is unfair because they just lust for her and i think i love her and the more she does not talk to me the more i like her she is the most confusing girl. whenever i am around my friends i feel discouraged and dont talk and i am not as funny but when i am alone with her i can be a really good smooth talker so if i can get to talk to her alone it will workout.

so please tell me what to do.

Tell her directly person-to-person, by phone, or text that you like her and ask her to hang out.

You are getting hung up on worrying to much about this. Just do it.
