i like him, he knows it , but doesnt want a relationship

he went out with a girl that tore his life apart,(emoionally)they are broken up now (its been about 6 monthes) and he knows i like him. he told me he wants to be friends, this is where it gets confusing. He says he doesnt want a girlfriend for a while. but recently he's been really sweet to me. letting me wear his hat, giving me his sweatshirt when i'm cold, lets me use his shirt when i sleep over (his parents house) and lets me sleep in his bed, while he gets the couch...helped me with my friend get together, his sister says he never done that for any one, yet alone for a girl. he looks disapointed/jelous when i talk/hug/flirt with other guys. thank you for your time...

I think he likes you. Just hang in there a while until he feels more comfortable with the loss of his ex. It's just a matter of time before he will be ready.
