We broke up, and she's angry at what I did

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Male
I have been dating a girl for one year. We broke up for about three weeks, during which time we both went on dates. She claims to only have let him kiss her but, on my date we had sex. We got back together and it felt vey positive. Now, within days of getting back together. she says our relationship is over because she can't trust me.

As well, she has ten sisters, most of whom seem to be "man haters", influencing her decisions. What can I possibly do to get her back, considering she is extremely mad.

RomanceClass.com Advice
You guys broke up. Breaking up means you are totally free of any obligations to the other. People deal with breakups in very different ways! Some become hermits. Some become flirtatious. Some sleep with a new person to prove they're still "wanted" by someone. There are 800 million reactions to a breakup and every one is different. That's the way breakups work, they are painful situations.

So for her to be mad at you for how you handled your pain is silly!! You weren't with her, she wasn't with you. What she chose to do is her issue, and what you chose to do is yours! She can't be mad at you for reacting a certain way. That's like saying "Your father just died. If MINE had died I would be crying my eyes out. You instead are hiding in a corner. Your way is wrong! My way is right!"

The key to a relationship is honesty and trust. She needs to be more understanding about you and how you feel, instead of trying to say your reactions are wrong.
