Which is it?

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
Hi
For about 2 going on 3 years now I have been friends with a guy whom at first I had no intrest in what so ever. We had a class together our freshmen year and he sat behind me where he would continuously tickle poke wisper in my ear, flirt basically. As our freshman year progressed he began to desire hugs from me and have talks about more personal stuff rather than silly, random stuff when we first met. We didnt keep in touch over hte summer. Then the next year rolled around and just the same as last he tickled me, wispered, hugged me only with one thing extra as he hugged me he added the "i love you" to me which there I was stunned. haha. Durring our first semester someone had started a rumor about us which we both denied terribly. After that rumor i rarely get hugs or anything but his friends still mess with me as does he jus not as often. which frankly stinks. lol. i like him lots and this is summer i am gonig into my junior year and I like him alot but i cant tell him or ask him out us girls in hte south dont do that we wait for hte boy ubt im tired of waiting, honestly. can u blame its going on 3 years. But im still not sure if he likes me. and the second part of my problem is that im not a string bean im a thick girl with the reputation of getting along iwth everyone while he is hte football guy with the jock, jerk boys with a reputation of being hte "nice guy" and dating skinny girls. Is he afraid of our social status's clashing? He is afraid of what his boys will say? man i got carried away but that is my question(s). can you help me i am terribly confused and im the advice girl everyone goes to with hteir relationship problems and they listen and everything works fine but i can handle my own relationship problems then i found you. i hope you can help me.

thank you ever so much,
kit-kat

RomanceClass.com Advice
Southern girls do ask boys out.

Just ask him out and say it is as "a friend." Go for a walk or picnic, movies or bowling, or just hanging out.

If he is interested in you and doesn't have a GF then you will find out.

Good luck! George
