i realy messed it up

me this girl i realy like r goin to this concert next month and when i asked she said she'd only go as "just friends" and then this kid i play football with who i'm friends with started talkin to her when he new i liked her alot and i asked him about it and asked him if he could hold off till after the concert so nothin would be akward between any of us so he went to her and told her a bunch of lies and she was realy mad at me and i tried to explain what i said and now she says that "it doesn't matter anymore" but i'm just worried that evrythin i've been doin the past few weeks has been for nothin now cause i've been workin like crazy to make that night extra special for her cause its her b0day present from me. and she told me that she only wanted to go as just friends cause she was wantin to stay single for as long as she could to make sure she didn't make any more bad decisions
