I just graduated high school. And there has been a girl at school that I have liked for a while. I have only talked to her a couple times so she doesn't know me well. It is the summer now and I want to find a way to get closer to her before she is gone forever. But I don't know how to get closer to her if I never see her or don't have her phone number. If it helps, her birthday is coming up and I don't know if I should do something for it. Help!

Ask around, someone knows her phone number... or look it up in switchboard.com or the phone book.
When you call her have something specific in mind to ask her to do with you... like a walk, movie, bowling, etc etc.
She is probably bored by the summer like you and would be delighted to hear from you.
