What should I do?

Me and my boyfriend just broke up, on our 8 month anniversary day. He says it's because he was going to be busy during the summer and he doesn't feel like being in a relationship right now. But he said he still wants to be my best friend, because that's what he was to me. He was my boyfriend and my best friend. He still wants to be, he wants everything to stay the same. Things like calling each other everyday, hanging out, and seeing each other...he still wants to do that. But I loved him...I still love him. But he sees me as just a friend...and he says that when he's ready again...he'll tell me, and maybe we could start dating again. I'm so confused...help me!

Give him some time to get used to the new relationship and the summer.
He seems to be under pressure and for the moment you will have to try to understand it.
You are very lucky that he wants to remain friends with you as this will make it easier to make up if that is going to happen.
Be cheerful with him so he feels comfortable around you.
