Should I ask her out?

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Male
I've been very good friends with this girl for a couple years now, and have liked her for as long as I can remember. about a year ago, we both found out we like each other. Since then, she's been acting really shy. We've been to a couple movies and parties together, but always 'as friends' and always been with at least a few other people. I am also really shy. I really want to ask her out, but don't know how without putting her on the spot. Also, none of my friends really know about 'us' and I don't want them to be hurt when I'm spend more time with her.
we are both 14 years old just about to graduate from 8th grade.
thanks =]

RomanceClass.com Advice
Don't worry about what others think and instead think of yourselves.

Ask her out, especially since summer is approaching. She will probably say yes and you will both be happy. Tell her that if she says no you still want to be friends and go out as friends.

This is not too complicated... this is how romances begin... and all it takes is some guts on your part.

Good luck! George
