Ready to move on?Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
Well. I didnít ask him out, because I havenít seen him in a while.
Heís already left school. The seniors last day was like three days ago.
But, I left him a message on My Space wishing him Good luck with graduation and college because I might not see him again.
And itís been two days and he hasnít replied (saying thank you or something). And I know heís seen it because he was onÖSo what Iím going to do is move on. Because the least he could have done was show some appreciation or something. I mean, itís not like my brother can see the messageÖyou know!?
So like I said, Iím going to try to move on.
But I donít exactly know how to.
Iím sort of stubborn when it comes to guys.
Actually, Iím very pathetic when it comes to guys.
WellÖthereís this other guy who likes me and Iím scared to like him because Iím afraid he might break my heart. And I know Iím not ready to commit to someone because Iíve never really been in love before and I donít know exactly how to treat him if we were to go out.
But anywaysÖI need advice on how to move on from Shawn and just find myself some other guy that is NOT friends with my brother.
All those guys Iíve mentioned are good friends of my brother.
Forget the senior who is off to college and who didn't answer your contact.
Concentrate on this other guy and see what develops.
Talk with your brother and tell him that he is an impediment to your happiness because you can't develop friendships with his friends. Ask him if it is ok for you to see his friends or particularly this new friend.
Don't worry about broken hearts... they will happen and that's just life. Learn from your experiences and you will end up a happy person.
Good luck! George
