I like her so much but I have never spoken to her

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
Theres this girl that I really, really like. She is friends with my friend. I told my friend that I like her and they hang out with each other at lunch but with more people. My Friend told me to go up to her at lunch. I dont know why but i didnt go and now i wish i had went. I'm planning on going there on Monday, but i dont know what to say or do. Should i talk to the whole group or just her? How can i go up to her without looking like a dumbass but instead looking like a guy that she would like to date?

Summer's coming soon.

You better make your move or you've lost her for the summer.

Walk up to the group and just hang for a while. Then look over at your loved one and act shocked and walk over to her with your hand out and say "And, who is this lovely flower?" Shake hands and say "encantado" which is Spanish for "enchanted." You may get a few laughs out of this but most will look up to you for having the guts to do it even if they laugh.

OK, it sounds a little far fetched, but you only have a small amount of time to make an impression on her. Ask your friend to get her phone number and internet access so you can start talking to her privately. In fact, if you don't think the "encantado" idea is a good one, just go with getting her phone number.

Good luck! George
