confusion of feelings and situation
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
I met this guy last summer. I didnt think it was a serious issue--jus another guy to flirt with. I didnt expect much from it but as time went by I actually started to like him, but he lives a little far from me. We would try to see each other to hang out, but things got in the way. Usually when time goes by w/o seein a person it fades and ends. But it didnt with this guy and I thought it was different this time. He stuck around and I dont know if it's the real deal. We get into arguements over little things and when I think its over, he pops into the picture again and we start all over. I'm not sure if something could really grow or is it just another lost cause b/c we r different but have a connection. I told him i liked him, and he told me he was into me, but idk if hes sincere or just playing games and dragging me along. Its amazing how far it went on even though we don't get to see each other. Can it actually work?

Don't put much hope into this relationship until you meet more often.
Make that your highest priority if you want this to work out. Otherwise it is a flimsy situation and unlikey to bear fruit.
Tell him straight out that you two need to see each other, because it isn't going to work in the long run if you don't.
