how to become friends

Visitor's Question from a 31-40 year old Female
Me and this guy, started out as getting on so well. We didnt actually become an item, more friends that liked each other. Lately we have been arguing too much. It has now resulted in us not talking for over 6 weeks. He has met this girl from the internet and they are now an item. They have been going out for 2months and seen each other twice, in the meantime we were spending time together and things were happening with us sexually. I eventually exploded one night and told him i cant deal with this and we cant be friends, I didnt mean it, I went round the next day to apologise and even sent him a rose with a message. Nothing has helped, he has ignored me since, BUT he came around 2 weeks ago, it was late and he said he realised we needed to talk and that whenever i am ready to give him a call. I have tried twice since then and he doesnt even reply to my message. How can i get him to talk and to get our friendship back on track? I love him.
