Does my guy still like me?
Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
Okay so i really don't know were to start but that i don't know if my guy still likes me anymore or not. We started talking at the end of last year in December and we decided not to see other people in the begining of February and he was the one who came out and said it. See and that is a big dill for him because he does not do things like that ever, thats not the type of person he is. He is not a loving type person or anything that goes with loving. The only time we kiss is when i am about to leave his house or when i look at him and ask for one. Even when we talk on the phone it is only for maybe a min. or two and we only talk at night but we have talk in the day time. Somethings tell me that he does still like me like when we are in bed about to go to sleep he will put his arms around me but he does not do it when we are with our friends and yes they all know we are together. If i ask him if he still like me he says yes but thats it, once again he is not a big talker about anything other than cars, working out and the lake oh yeah and beer.My friends tell me to give it time because see he has not been in a relationship in 3 years so he does not know how to act in one any more and plus the last one he was in she cheated on him. I make him out to be bad but he is not, he has been there for me when i needed him. I got in a car wreck and i called him and he came right to me and helped me out. I also got two flats on my car and he came and changed it for me lastweek when he was on his way to school and he was running really late, i did not even ask him. Maybe i am looking and reading way to much in to it. Thanks
Since he likes talking about cars, ask him "What kind of car would you think of me as?" Ask him why. The ask about your paint job (how you dress), about your tires (legs), electrical system (brains), radiator (your emotions), headlights (eyes), chassis (body), etc.
He may refuse to play this game with you but at least give it a try... he may think it is fun and throw in ideas of his own.
Other than that, the other choice is to talk to him straight but he seems hesitant to participate in that kind of conversation.
Good luck! George
