my boyfriend does not no how to stick up for himself with his parents they talk about me all the time and he never sticks up for me ever and i ask him why and he just says because they dont listen which i know he cant say nothing to his dad because he bi polar and his mom is just so weird ..she hates me because my boyfriends hangs with my family and enjoys being around them soo shes really jealous ill just give you an example he was over my familys house and we had spagetti and he went home and said that was good spagetti and his mom was like WHAT you never say our spagetti is good how dear you compliment there spagetti and not ours why dont you just start eating over there all the time now.. ok well you see shes a weirdo and shes like that all the time and he does not stick up for himself im sick of it and he tells me i will iwill and never does anytime hes at my house they call him home to look for a tool or to do something ridiculous just cas hes at my house and he goes anyways what do i do now hes not calling me or anything because yesturday he was suppose to come to my house yesturday but noo instead he just wanted to go home to mommy instead....HELP

One thing to realize is that after all these years of living with weird parents, he is going to pick up some of their bad habits too.
It is difficult for anyone to fight against their parents when they have been the underdog for so many years.
So, it is unlikely that you will be able to change him, but keep trying because that is all you can do at this point.
