i don't know anymore

i met this guy a while ago and we got on great and he was nice, sweet etc. i asked him out and he said no due to just breaking up with his girlfriend. i asked him where i stood a few weeks later and he didn't bother answering me, so i just left it at that. anyway, recently i've been noticing he only bothers contacting me when he wants to have some fun. i find it really hard to say no so i go along with it and always end up regretting it. (we haven't gone all the way though.) friends keep saying he's using me and yeah, i've started to believe them but i still like him and i really have no idea with what to do next. thanks for your help.
