Still wants to talk to ex after numerous times of discussing why I am not comfortable with it

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
My boyfriend is 32 yrs old. I am 30. His ex girlfriend is 19! And he says he still wants to be "friends" with her after only dating her for 1 month. For starters, I do not agree with the age difference, of a 32 yr old being friends with a 19 yr old GIRL, not woman. I have explained to him that it makes me very uncomfortable that he still wants to be friends with her and that he even dated someone that young. He says she has a bad home life and a young child so he feels bad for her and wants to be there for her to talk to. How do I handle this?

If you don't trust him then why bother with the relationship?

The age difference isn't significant.
