I need help getting closer to my freind

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
I have liked this girl ever sense 6th grade (somewhere around 4 years ago) the first day i talked to her. We started to become freinds in 7th grade and thru out the summer got closer. Then me and her went out in 8th grade for about a week then we broke up. In 9th grade we became even closer freinds. When i went out with this one girl and she got very upset calling me and crying about it and then i ended up breaking up with the girl and trying to talk to the one i like about it and she seemed fine after we broke up but she didnt like the idea of us going out and i have started to hang out with her as much as i can but we both are busy thru out the week not being able to call or see each other so we hang out on sunday mostly i would like to try to go out with her i just want to have a good idea on where and how to start? and why did she get so upset with me going out with someone if she didnt want to go out with me?

You will have to ask her why she was upset but then didn't want to go out with you.

If you want to start, take her places as a friend. You can go for a walk or job in the park, to the library, roller or ice skating, bowling, musical activity, theatrical activity (movie), restaurant, school dance, sporting activities, volleyball, etc.

Hanging out is good too so keep that up.

Good luck! George
