We love eachother, but the communication is terrible

My girlfriend and I of 3 months have a hard time keeping conversations and end up acting like were strangers toward eachother. It started happening once she started doing Track for her school. I only get to talk to her for about an hour a day and when we do talk it just feels so awkward.

Lacking conversation is a common problem especially between those who just started dating.

Keep topics in mind to talk about: family, pets, friends, school, music, cable, sports, etc. Whenever you are drawing a blank, just think about those topics and something will pop out to talk about.

Here's another idea. Bring a book and read to each other from it. That will bring up things to discuss.
