I was totally blown off

Visitor's Question from a 31-40 year old Female
My boyfriend of 4 months started to distance last week or so. I texted him " are you starting to lose interest in me?" because he wasnt calling me back. The next day I recieved a text from him," sorry to say it, but yes". Thats it. I called him upset and left a message. He texted me saying he will call me that night and never did. Should I continue to find out if I did something wrong? Should I just let it be? whY would a guy blow someone off just like that, we were kinda close. I would like some closure to this if this is how its gonna be. ( We have been intimate ) Im 33.

My sense is that in this case closure is not going to be satisfying.

In fact, it's doubtful there will be closure.

Why not just leave him cold like he did you and be done with him?

Sometimes that's a good thing to do.
