I love 2 guys!?!

So...I have been dating a guy now for 2 years. We are 19 and I met him at work. At first I didnt want to date him but i ended up falling in love. Before him though there was a guy that i kind of dated and since then we have become very good friends. My boyfriend and I have our set of problems (views on money, family, religion) But my friend and I see more eye to eye on subjects. He is just very shy. Anyway I love them both. I dont know If I should stick with what I have or take a chance. I cant get my friend off my mind and I dream about him at least once a week. While not so much my boyfriend. This issue has been eating at me since April 2006 so almost a year now. I dont know what to do.

Ideally, you would tell your BF about the situation and talk it out with him. He may have some useful suggestions. But more likely he will be hurt and angry. But that is a price you will need to pay.

If you split up with your BF then you are free to date your shy friend. No guarantee that this will work out. That is a risk you would be undertaking.

So, there is not a very good answer to the dilemma. But there is no reason for you to have to suffer in silence and be dishonest with your BF.
