Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
I really want to break up with my boyfriend just because he's a very umm... physical person! So I'm nervous about it to begin with, and then for Valentines day he gave me a really nice bracelet. So when I break up with him, I don't know what to do. I don't want to keep the bracelet, but it might seem mean to give it back to him. I don't know what to say to begin with, and all the tips basically say that I should just do it, but I don't know what to say when I do! Please help!

RomanceClass.com Advice
Just be gentle with him and tell him the truth.

Say you like him as a friend but that as a boyfriend he is too physical and you aren't ready for that. He may say that he will back off, so be prepared as to whether you will give him another chance or not. If not, tell him no thanks you have made up your mind.

Then hand him the bracelet and say how pretty it is but that you don't feel right about accepting it and then breaking up with him.

Good luck, it won't be easy but you can do it. George
