I see her all the timeVisitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
Hi My girlfriend brike off our relationship almost 3 months ago.She broke it off with me, I never wanted to leave her. I did my best in trying to keep her and give her whatever she wanted. She said she wasn't ready for a serious/romantic relationship, and she wanted to be friends. I said I wanted to be her friend and that I always would be her friend. Friends is okay by me, but I don't want to get stuck as just a friend.
We both go to the same school and have some classes together. I also see her in the hallway somtimes. I say hi and am nice to her, but seeing her kills me inside. Toward the end of the realtionship I told her I loved her, and of course I still do. I almost sure now 3 months later she doesn't have too many feelings for me outside of being a friend. She is very nice to me and of that I can see never gets mad at me, but she also doesn't go out of her way to talk me. Do you have any suggestions about how to get her to like me again as more then a friend? The other think there is another guy who liked her prior to the relationship. This guy tried to flirt with her all the time during the realtionship, and I got really mad although I didn't let her know. Eventually I got him to stop at least when I was around, then, she broke it off, and he found out. Now hes trying again and more aggressively. On top of it his best friend is going out with one of her friends, which just gives him the green light to go talk flirt. Yes I am jealous of it, but its a big problem if I want her back. I can deal with the jealousy. What I want to know is should I just let this run its course, or should I fight for her, could this get her to like me again?
I have been looking for another girl. I love her though and don't want to carry that into another realtionship. I need to solve this first. Is there hope or no?
It's been three months and you still haven't made much progress.
This is a good sign that she is not interested in you. She may still consider you a friend but that's about as far as it is going to go.
You should keep looking for another girl. That will take your mind off your ex and you will feel a lot better. Give it a try.
Good luck! George
