How do I deal with jealousy

My partner cheated on me and left the relationship and now we are trying to make it work. I have a problem with jealousy and how do I deal with this and the trust issue and move on with the present and not dwell in the past?

You have been burnt, and jealousy is hard to beat anyway.

You and you and your bf need to see a professional counselor to get over this serious problem. It can't be solved through the internet.

You can try to treat the jealousy as an enemy and tell it to go away whenever it rears its ugly head. Do that many times and it may help a little.
