Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
I send you questions about certain things to try and get my gf back. I asked whether I should ask her to go somwhere so that I could talk to her, I called her and asked if I could talk to her in person. She really seemed that she didn't want to talk to me. I asked her on a Friday and she said she was going somwhere over the weekend. To family and that I could talk to her at school on Monday. I was going to talk to her about giving me another chance with her, but now I'm not sure thats a good idea... i think I may have made this choice out of desperation, I really care for her.
She broke up with me saying she wasn't ready for a romantic relationship. I asked if she would ever give me another chance with her. She said she didn't think it would work anymore and wanted to be friends.
Now i've made it clear that I want to be friends with her and have tryed to be just that. About 5 days ago I asked her to call me, and much to my surprise she did. The conversation lasted about 15 minutes and the only thing I asked her that was relationship related was whether she felt uncomforatble around me at school. she said no. The rest of the conversation was fairly light. I didn't see her much for the next two days then I called her to ask to talk in person. My intention was to talk her about maybe giving me another chance. I'm also not perfectly clear about what she considers a romantic realtionship as being(which I also was going to talk to her about). My thought was that she didn't want to date anyone at that time, which makes sense but at school she is really flirty and it looks to me trying to get the attention of some of the guys. It does make me jealous, but I try not to let it show and I don't think she notices. I'm sorry for how long thi is, but this is important to me. If she wasn't ready for a romantic relationship why does it appear that she's trying to get another BF or am i toatlly mis-interpreting this? I didn't expect her to toatlly not notice other guys or not flirt, but she looks to me to going out of her way to attract a certain few. If you have any insight on this please help I understand if you don't know at all. Should I still talk to her???
She told you a romantic relationship would not work out.
What she meant was that it would work out with you. But, obviously she is still interested in other boys.
Write her off as a loss and look for another girl.
Good luck! George
