Mixed signals from Boss

I recently joined a firm where my boss is a woman and being worked for male bosses throughout my working life, this seemed like a quite a nice change at the beginning. She is an attractive & friendly, forty-something married woman with grown-up kids. She was very helpful to me when I started and due to long hours we put in together (in real estate sales)we became quite close & even shared some of our personal issues with each other. One day, she invited me to go for drinks after a long day and after a couple of drinks and having a good time, she offered me a ride back home. However, as soon as we got in to the car, she leaned over and kissed my lips and began stroking my thigh. I was quite uncomfortable but thought that she must be just acting funny (which she usually does) and didn't want to make a big deal about it - so I just laughed and tried to change the subject. But she kept stroking my thigh by raising my skirt bit by bit and when I realized that she was actually seducing me, I stopped her. She then started talking dirty and said somethings that she would like to do with me - which is not printable. I politely told her that I am married and not into that and then she began laughing loud and said that was all a joke and she was just teasing me. She dropped me home and I never shared any of this with my husband. I am still not sure whether she actually was joking or really flirting with me. Do you think I should be concerned at all? Anyway, after that, she never brought it up again until now. Really like to know your opinion. Thanks - Dee

It was not a joke by any means.
The signals were not mixed: she was trying to seduce you as you correctly surmised.
My guess is she won't try it again and hopefully will not hold your refusal against you. If either of those occur you should report her to her superior or look for another job.
