to email or not email

Visitor's Question from a 31-40 year old Male
I recently got home from a 2 wk. Christmas vacation only to find a break up letter on my bed the night I returned. No phone call, no email, ..just a 1 page letter.
We dated for appr. 3 months. We had no arguements , No major issues and everything seemed ok. ( I guess at least to me ).
This letter detailed how much of a gentleman i was from the very beginning and what an excellent boyfriend i was. However, she didn't feel the chemistry was there to make the relationship work. ya da ya da ya da.........

Also she stated that she was going througha phase and that she new she needed to work on herself. She said she didn't want to waste my time and drag me through it.

At the end of the letter she stated that I have her email and that it would be nice to hear from me once and a while.

My question is.........DO I EMAIL??? OR NOT?????? I have questions about why she broke up,......but I WILL NOT GROVEL!!! Thanks!
