more than friends?

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
Ok. So I asked this boy to Sadies. just as friends, but later found out that he liked me. I recently started likeing him back, as more than a friend, but i'm not sure if he likes me anymore. I was sure at first since he gave me a christmas present that showed he obviously listened when i talked to him, and asked me to hang out with him and his friends. But now, he's starting to act different. He seems normal when we are in a group of people. i'll catch him staring at me in class, or when we are in a group. But he doesn't really seem to be very flirtatious when he's around his friends, he almost seems to avoid hanging out with me in a group larger than just his close friends. I've started to send him signals back. that i like him as more than a friend. but i'm very shy and i'm not sure the point is getting across. how can i tell if he still likes me?

He still likes you.

He is just shy in large groups. As long as he is friendly in smaller groups you have nothing to worry about.

Mention to him that you are really looking forward to the dance and hopefully he will say the same back to you. He may be as shy as you are so don't expect too much of him.

Good luck! George
