I hope I didn't completely ruin our friendship

Hi, it's me again. The one who made up the metaphor. Because there wasn't time at work I had to tell this girl how I felt via email. I told her when we were chatting online that I was gonna email her something. After she had gotten off I did and she got on earlier today and when we chatted she didn't say much, she just told me she had never received the email. I take this as a nice way of rejecting me. In the email I told her I was "developing feelings" for her and I knew that things with her boyfriend were still unsure with her and if she ever needed to talk I would listen.
Any suggestions on what I should do. I just have to talk to her about this and definitely don't want to lost her friendship.

My guess is that she really didn't get the first copy.

If she claims she didn't get it again then you'll know she isn't interested.
