i got to school with this guy m going to call ryan and i was in Isss which is a place that is in school when u get introuble u go and instead of going to ur classes u just sit in one room and face the wall and can't talk.anyways ryan was down there and so was a friend i will call kate well i just found out wensday that kate likes ryan well she wrote him a not saying that she liked him well later on that morning he worte me and asked me why kate told him that i like him and i told him cuz i do.so he was writing me and stuff that day we were just passing notes and kate got mad cuz he told me that he didnt like her that was at all and then he said heres my number whats urs? so i gave it to him and he said whats ur address i will come over tomorrow after school so i gave it to him,then she was getting mad at me and the next day it was a snow day so there was no school and so he didnt come over but we talk on the phone for a min then he said he was going to call me back he never did cuz he was in the middle of movein so i understood.My question is does he like me or does he just want me for other things and if he does like me is it worth looseing a friend that i know for about a year over it??

It is too early to know what this all means.
Talk to Kate and try to come to some understanding of the situation so you both feel good about it. It's up to you to decide whether it is worth losing her friendship. It's certainly not a good idea for you to lose her while you still aren't sure about Ryan's feelings and your feelings about Ryan.
So, talk to Kate first and see if you can get her on your side.
