I want my EX back and dont know how to aproach her

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
I went out with my ex girlfriend for six months and broke up last january. SHe left to mexico for two weeks and while she was gone i did the stupid mistake to fall for another girl whom she hates. I did not know she hated her though. when she came back from mexico, i broke up with her in order to go out with this new girl. Now, about a year later i have begun to talk to her again and she has told me that she doesnt want anything to do with me. she told me she though that i was the one for her while we were dating but after what i did to her she cant take me back. she has definetely lost my trust, she is fearfull of what her friends will say if she takes me back and the gossip of the girls at school. i really need this girl back but i dont know how to gain her trust again, how to let her know i still love her. she knows how i feel about her and i think she is scared to give me another chance. how should i approach her/ gain her trust?

You've got a tough hill to climb.

Don't come on too strong since you have just started talking with her again. Keep it smooth and easy and casual. Tell her that you regret what happened earlier between you two.

Let her relax and become used to you again. Be a trustworthy as you possibly can be. And, as time goes on, let her know that you still care for her.

Probably most of the girls in school have forgotten what happened.

Good luck! George
