what should i do?

I met him about one year back.He was a real flirt that time.We beacme friends.After few weeks we met, my friend wanted to meet him n they had a chat through net.But that was a nasty kind of talk.she asked to hide that issue even from me.But later it came out from him though it was not intentionally.He told me the whole thing happened.when i asked her she lied that nothing happened.But actually it was she who took initiative for such a talk that day.He told me a milion sorries n promised me to forget all those.now we are much more close n its more than a friendship.but i am unable to forget this issue.After that he never tried to have such a talk with her anymore.still i feel so insecure n i think he cant ever forget those words they shared.its really hurting me.but still i cant leave him alone..what should i do

You are the one who needs to forget it happened. Or, if you remember, then know that it doesn't matter. What matters is that you love him.
