cant tell if i should ask or not

me and this girl have been ok were in the school band toghethe and we are ok we talk and stuff and i like her so much its like that adrinaline rush you get when you with that special person but i dont no if i should ask her now and i think i may have screwed up when i asked her friend if she had a boy friend and what should i do should i ask or what

Sounds like she enjoys your company and your question about does she have a boyfriend shouldn't be a problem.

Ask her out or if you don't want to do that, ask her out "as a friend" for dinnere, a walk in the park or by a river, picnics, sporting events.
