I want my ex back

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Male
I have been going out with a girl for four years.i am 26 and she is 22. although we live a couple of hours away from each other we still have the same days off and saw each other all the time. but she came to me one day and said she wanted to break up. she said that her head was all mixed up and she does not know what she wants. She told me that she still loves me and cares for me but not the same anymore. i know myself that her workload is huge and she sad to me she needs time on her own as she does not have time for herself. she said she still wants to remain friends and that she will always be there for me and promised me there is no other guy and that she is not looking for another guy. i have tried my hardest in the last couple of weeks to win her back but to no avail. we met up a couple of days ago and she started to cry that it was too hard to meet me. i love her so much and i know she is the one for me she is my soulmate. what should i do give her space? and do you think we will be back together again?

RomanceClass.com Advice
You really need to give her space now.

She obviously needs it in a desperate way.

Ask her if you can call her once a week for 15 minutes to see how she is doing. This will give her the space she needs and the contact you need. Be cheerful and don't talk about your relationship.

If it is meant to be, she will discover that she really loves you and come back in time.

Best wishes! George
