caught me off guard

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Male
I have been good friends with this girl all the years we been in college together and we always have flirted. She got a boyfriend a year and a half ago and she continued to always flirt with me, and I recently finally met her boyfriend and he told me how much the girl thought of me and he knew he could trust me. Last night I was telling her I was interested in one of her friends and before I could even say who she said, "just so you know I'm on the market again". So she said it was over with her boyfriend. We now have fall break and she was asking me if I was going to be around at all that she would like to hang out. Then when I got home last night from our friends apartment, she started texting me telling me to come back over to her apartment to hang out. So I went and it was just a fun time with her roommate and us hanging out. Do you think this means anything or just her looking for comfort from me as a friend? I always did have a bit of a thing for her to. So what should do or not do?

RomanceClass.com Advice
It's too early to say what might develop.

She may be turning to you as a friend or she may have feelings for you.

Keep talking with her, sharing your feelings, and flirting and you will soon find out where she stands. But don't hang back because you may lose her.

Wish you the best, George.
