will he come back?
Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
We were friends at first but always had a thing for eachother so after 2 years he started dating me and moved in. at first it was all good. he didnt have a car a job or money. he appreciated living with me and didnt take advantage of me. i went to nursing school and he got a job where i work now. about every 3 months he leaves saying he dosent like that i gripe at him. i tell him to give me some time then i would gripe if he went with friends. he thinks im trying to control him. his family was never involved with him so he has always turned to friends, i am very family oriented. so now for the 4th time of him leaving. he gave me the car back i bought him and asked for his stuff saying he will never come back. i told him i never understood until now that his friends are like family and i can deal with that and except it now that i undersatand. he is not trying to hear it. what do i do. he is now living with his parents no car and he works with me! its hard to see him everyday. and now hes giving me mixed signals one minute hes tellign me i look good then the next he saying give him space and leave him alone. how can i get him bac for good? i blowed him up the 1st few days but now i dont call and he has calle dme a few times. this is the man i truly love and its different with him i think he is the one, he told me a few weeks prior to the breakup he wants to be with me forever. i dont understand, how can he trust me that i understand his needs now and it can work, it did. people break up over money and cheating not arguments so please help asap!
Invite him over for his favorite home-cooked meal.
Most men have a hard time resisting such an offer. Once you are together my guess is that you will mend fences and be together again.
But if things still don't go well, ask him if you can call him once a week just to see how he is doing, be cheerful and don't bring up your relationship on these phone calls.
Good luck! George
