moving in together??

Hi the problem basically is, my boyfriend and i want to get a place together. The only problem is im worried about money. He has a good full time job and i have just started university, so thinking about it i could pay towards the bills and food and things for the house but we obviously could not have joint mortgage (as im a student and only work part time) but how could i make things fair as i dont want him to pay for everything and if we split up be able to prove i payed for things?

Talk this thru seriously with your b/f.

Figure out how much you can realistically commit for monthly payments. Write a check to him each month for this amount. This will prove you paid if you ever need to.
