First time advice...
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
My one year anniversary is in nine days. My friend and I (she's 20, I'm 18) have talked about having , but we're not entirely sure. We're both physically and emotionally ready to do so, we're just worried that if our parents find out, that there will be some major issues to deal with.
My parents raised me in the Christian standpoint of not having before marriage. My mother told me at one point in time that they did, and that at least she regretted it.
We both feel that we don't really want to hide it from our parents, but we both also feel like our parents will kick us out of our houses if we do.
Her parents are much more understanding than mine. I do believe that my father (a pastor for 13 years, though doesn't really have much to do with church at all anymore, but still is very "religous") might possibly even disown me. He's got a temper that's a force not to be recconed with.
So, like I said. We're both ready, we're just not too sure about the parental units.
Any advice would be helpful. Having second annoynomous opinions are nice things. Thank you in advance.

You are stuck between a rock and a hard place.
Waiting for marriage is ok for those who want it. Although one drawback is that the desire for sex may lead people to marry who shouldn't have.
If you were twenty I'd say go for it (having sex). Since you are 18 and still under your parents' control I am not so sure.
If you decide to have sex don't tell your parents.
Finally, my intuition says that you are more afraid of having sex than you are of your parents. But that is just a hunch.
