How do you fall in love with someone?

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
I have been with my boy for years and he has all the equalities i'm after, everythings good except for me, I have found the closer to getting married the more i think of my ex. My ex was not suited to me so i broke up with him about 6 years ago and we weren't together long enough to know if things would work, but I loved him so much it hurt and it still hurts if i think about it, if I could love my boy like i loved him he would be perferct i would have it all, but i love him i'm not in love with him so i feel guilty, but i want my boy as a life partner dispite the fact that im not in love with him cos he's perfect and is what im looking for, I hoped that in time i would fall in love with him but it hasn't happened, what do i do? How do i fall in love with him? How do i get the ex out of my head? Why do i love someone i don't really know so much and yet only love the person i want to have children with?help!!!!!!!

RomanceClass.com Advice
You shouldn't marry a man you don't love.

Especially if you have an ex in your heart.

You need to talk with a professional counselor to figure this out. It is too complicated to try to deal with thru the internet.

You might consider talking this problem over with your b/f, but there is a good probability that he will want to split up over it.

Good luck! George
