Will he get closer to me?

I have recently been seeing someone who I feel a very deep connection with, probably more than I have with anybody else. We have a lot in common, a very deep attraction to one another, and have had various contact over the past three months. The last time I saw him, he gave me his phone number, and when I phoned him the next day, he phoned me back, said he was going away for the weekend, and might not be able to check his calls for a few days. I have tried to phone him twice over the past two days, but he hasn't phoned me back. Is he brushing me off or not? And, if not, what might I be able to do in order to spark his interest in me even more?

But since he didn't return your calls or call you himself that is not a good sign.

To spark his interest, stop calling him and see what happens.
