why cant i beleive him?

ok i have an extremely important question ok me and my boyfriend have been dating for 7 months and i love him to death but i am constanly thinking hes cheating on me. some times i wont even let him hang out with his friends. its has gotten to the point where i cant help but alwayswonder and ask him everyday. he tells me no but i just cant beleive it i cant and i make myself sick. i want to beleive him but hes lied too many times. he only lies to me because i yell at him for not wanting to be with me or not wanting to talk to me or he didnt call me. i constanly panicing. its gotten to the point where i beleive im abusive. i actually have hit him because he gets me angry. this all started about three months ago when my friend said that my oyfriend wa cheating on me then i found a text message on my boyfriends phone asking some girl out it was right after the first time we broke up. he otld me his friend asked the girl ou but i really dont care if he did.its getting to the point where he thought about cheating on me before. i dont want to lose him. im desperate. i want ot be happy again. i need some self esteem tips and i want to know why i cant beleive him and i also need tips on how i can trust him> thank you so much for listening.
