I broke up with my gf, she is dating someone and i want her back?

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Male
I have dated my gf for 3 years..in between we had a month because of me that i needed my space because i wasn't use to not doing things that i wanted like haging out with my friends and so on. During that time we talked, spend time with eachother and were the same. We got back together and recently is when everything started happening. Again she started sufficating me, than she started reading my e-mails and found one of an old friend that i talked to and had something with but in the end i just remained friends. Later on like a month ago at work i met another girl and started talking to her about my problems. Soon after i broke up with my gf and i told her that i just want to be friends and so on. For two weeks she cried over me and i pushed her away really bad, and during that time i missed her so much i wanted her back. She also found out that i was going out with the girl i was talking to and that we had sex. After a weakend when i went with the new girl i was with we went to a convention and all i saw was L*, i wasn't having any fun at all. I wanted to share that experience with her. After the weekend i cried i didn't know what to do and i went to her house and asked her to forgive me, that i want her back, that what i did was wrong and i know i hurt her so bad. She said that she liked this guy and that i had to fight for her and i now had competition. Than later on she said that she is with him. And she never gave me a chance. Now i tried all, i show her that i'm sorta happy, i call her only once a week to see how she is doing, i sent her to cards explaining how i felt and one e-mail. We talked face to face and she said that she was confused, because the other guy made her happy. But yet when I took her out we played and she said outloud "I miss you, i still...." and she didn't finish what she said. I told her, i'll will always be waiting for her when you are ready and you still want to give me a chance come and tell me. Than another time when we talked she started kissing me, we had dried sex, than we did it again. But right afterwards she goes back to him and slept over his house. Does she need more time do i need to show her more that i have changed. She says that i did't treat her that well when we were together but she never said anything she always smiled at me and laughed along side with me. All our friends say and still say that we still act like nothing ever happened and with both see that. She says she dosen't want to hurt the guy she is with right now. How do i make her see more clearly what other things should i do? What other things should i do to impress her and show her that i can make her much happier, how do i not focus on the past and focus on the things that i can do for her now? How do i win her back?

It sounds like you have a half way good chance of winning her back.

Seems like she has set you a challenge. If you want her back you need to answer it. You are doing well to call her once a week. How about next week you send her a dozen roses? And if she responds well, the next week give her a big box of dark chocolates. And the week after that a loaf of banana bread.

Send her love letters in the mail.

If she shows any signs of annoyance then back off but not way off.

Hope this works! George
