Complications
Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
This is a mix between does he like me and how to ask him out question. Well first off I have had a crush on this guy, who is 8 years older than me for about 8 months now. He is the associate pastor of my church which complicates things. At first it was just your normal crush because I didn't really know him that well. Recently we have spent a considerable amount of time together. I went on a mission trip on which he was the leader and spent the better part of a week with him, which was awesome. I learned that we have a lot in common and I also learned that he is just a completely awesome guy and exactly the type of Godly person that I would want to be with. He is also weird and dorky and totally hysterical which is great. Since after the mission trip he says hi to me all the time when he sees me hugs me and even introduced himself to my mom and my little sister. I am a pretty shy person so the thought of letting him know that I like him is daunting, even though my friends and family think that I shound. I am scared of being rejected and don't think I am attractive enough for him to date. Despite all those things I was still thinking of asking him what he was doing for the fourth of July and if he didn't have plans and was going to suggest that we go to the fireworks show together. Do you think this is a good idea? I have had crushes before but I have never had any of the feelings that I am currently experiencing and had to seek an unbiased opinion. Thank You
