The Fun of the Chase

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
A guy, 26, has been after me for months now (I'm 23). I emerged from a bad long-term relationship, and after couple of weeks, this new guy took me out a few times, we were very affectionate with one another, but I told him that I wasn't easy and that I don't just "give it up." He told me he liked that quality, and continued to correspond with me, call me, invite me out, etc. But when I initiate contact with him, it seems it turns him off. Is this guy just about games/the fun of the chase? Or could there be something more? I like him a lot, but I don't want to seem pushy or desperate.

RomanceClass.com Advice
He may be trying to keep his "promise" to keep his hands off of you because of what you said.

If you don't think that is the problem then have a talk with him and explain that you want to have some affection but not all at once. He should understand this. Give him affection, he will be happy about it.

Good luck! George
