How long should I wait

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
I've been crazy in love with this girl since the moment we met last May. Being with her and making her happy is the greatest joy I have in my life. She's had the same boyfriend for a year and 8 months, so before we even met. But recently all she's been doing is talking about how she doesn't notice anything that she does and how he's been mean to he and made her feel unappreciated. I've tried to comfort her the best that I can but it really hurts me to see her like this, because I notice every little thing she does and I thnk she's perfect in every single way. From the way thinshave been going, it wouldn't surprise me f they broke up soon. They just graduated, and every couple hat I knew in high school roke up the summer after graduation. Is it likely that they will break up? It's been driving me crazy not telling her how I feel, especially over the last couple of months. If they do break up, how much tme should I give her before I tell her?

RomanceClass.com Advice
Here is the same answer I gave you last time because it still is true:

I think you ought to tell her.

Tell her that you are "developing feelings" for her and that you know she has a boyfriend. Tell her you don't want to make her feel uncomfortable around you but that you couldn't hold it in any longer. Ask her to promise that you can still be friends.

She seems to like you a lot so things might work out better than you think.

Good luck! George
