how should I feel

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
I've been dating this boy. We dated for 7 months in the past but we broke up because we never were together, alone, we never talked as a couple, and the feelings were lost. When we broke up, I guess he was devistated. He told me he cried and was heart broken for awhile. But Time passed and we both moved on, then we started talking again. I started to have feelings for him again and then we started to go out again. It has been almost a week since we started going out. But i feel that i liked him more when we weren't going out. I catch myself trying to make excuses not spend time together. And I feel terrible. But I dont know what to do. Ive always had a hard time figuring out what i should feel towards people. I dont want to hurt him because he really does mean a lot to me, it's not fair to me to stay in a situation that i dont like. Should I break up with him? And if so how should I do it? i really, really dont want to hurt him. Any help is a preciated.
thanks.

Why not give your relationship a try again.

It's only been a week or so since you started dating again.

My guess is the main thing you are lacking is communications. Make it a priority to talk with each other and be honest and trusting. You will find that this brings you closer to each other.

However, once you decide you really want to break up, be as gentle and honest as you can be and explain to him that you are really not ready to date again.

Good luck! George
